If you’re looking for a coffee to impress your cool friends, then this is the coffee for you. We cupped a handful of fresh crop Ethiopians and this one quickly became our favorite because of its complexity, smooth acidity, and intense sweetness. This coffee was produced in the Guji region of Ethiopia, which is known for some of the highest quality coffees in the country (and perhaps the world). Unlike the last Ethiopian coffee we purchased from Collaborative Coffee Source, this is a fully washed coffee which means it has a more rounded flavor profile and medium body. Look for notes of plum, hibiscus, and sweetened grapefruit. We roasted this coffee on the lighter side to emphasize its unique and delicate flavors.
